The MLS preseason is a time for fine-tuning, getting fit and preparing in all aspects for the season ahead. Sporting Kansas City also appears to be taking the time to cultivate a loose and fun locker room.

The club made good use of a garbage can in its locker room at the Desert Diamond Cup in Tucson, Arizona, with Matt Besler throwing down a slam dunk after an extended game of keepy-uppy and Dom Dwyer sinking a chipped shot from one end of the room off a bouncing assist.

On the field, the results remain to be seen, though the club is 1-0-2 in three exhibition games. Off it, Sporting KC seems to be doing just fine if these locker room scenes are any indication.
