Juventus and Bayern Munich will meet in knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

The first leg of the tie will take place in Turin, while the return leg will take place in Munich on March 16. 

Juventus is hoping to overcome a slew of injuries as the club starts the knockout stage looking to reach the Champions League final for the second-straight year. The Serie A club started off the 2015–16 season slow, but currently sit in first place in the Serie A table. 

Bayern comes into the match with a group stage record that included only one blemish, a 2–0 loss to Arsenal on Oct. 20. The club sits atop the Bundesliga standings, eight points ahead of its closest challenger, Borussia Dortmund. Bayern is also dealing with injury issues, and manager Pep Guardiola recently acknowledged that his defense currently has a height problem. 

Juventus is looking to build on its success from last season, when the club reached the Champions League final before losing to Barcelona. Bayern won the Champions League in 2012–13 but lost in the semifinals each of the last two seasons.
