Lionel Messi found the back on the net twice on Sunday as Barcelona took down Eibar 4–0 in La Liga play.

With his team already holding a one-goal lead in the first half, Messi took the ball from just beyond midfield and ran right past the defense into the left side of the box. He then placed a shot perfectly into the lower-right corner of the goal, out of the reach of Eibar’s goalkeeper.

Messi scored again in the 76th minute, easily finishing a penalty kick to give Barcelona a 3–0 lead.

The goals bring Messi’s total league tally on the season up to 21, which is second on Barcelona to Luis Suarez (25).
