Atletico Madrid will host Barcelona in the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinal tie on Wednesday.

Barcelona beat Atletico, 2–1, in the quarterfinal’s first leg on April 5 at Camp Nou. Barca will travel to Madrid to face Atletico on its home turf at Vicente Calderon for their second leg rematch.

Barcelona is coming off a 1–0 defeat to Real Sociedad on Saturday, which shrunk the club's first-place lead in the La Liga standings to just three points above Atletico and four above Real Madrid. After previously losing to Real Madrid earlier this month, the loss to Sociedad marked Barcelona’s first set of consecutive league losses since November of last season.

Atletico won its most recent two league matches with victories over Real Betis and Espanyol, but Atletico has not beaten Barcelona in the last eight matchups with its Spanish rival.

On Tuesday, Manchester City and Real Madrid advanced to the Champions League semifinal.
