Benfica and Bayern Munich will face off on Wednesday in the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinal. The match will take place at Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, Portugal.

In their first leg match against Bayern Munich on April 5, Benfica fell 1–0. Arturo Vidal’s goal in the second minute proved to be an early winner for Bayern Munich. The Bavarians are aiming to reach their fifth consecutive Champions League semifinals. 

Bayern Munich last won the Champions league in 2013. The club exited at the hands of Real Madrid and Barcelona over the last two seasons. 

Benfica is coming off a 2–1 victory over Academi 2–1 on April 9. In Bundesliga play, ​Bayern Munich beat Stuttgart 3–1. 

On Tuesday, Manchester City and Real Madrid advanced to the semifinals of the Champions League.
