The war of words between Portugal and Iceland continues.

Portugal and Iceland fought to a 1–1 draw in their Euro 2016 group match earlier this week, much to the surprise of almost everyone. Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo took issue with his opponents, claiming they played to tie instead of to win, and criticizing their celebration after the match.

Iceland defender Kari Arnason fired back Wednesday, hitting Ronaldo where it hurts.

“He's just a sore loser. He didn't want to lose the game .. He fannies about and dives around,” Arnason said, per The Sun. Then the defender hit Ronaldo with this uppercut:

“Obviously we're not going to create as many chances as a fantastic team like Portugal, but his comments are the reason why Messi is always going to be one step ahead of him,” Arnason said

Messi and Ronaldo have combined to win the last eight Ballon d'Or awards. Messi has won five of the eight.
