The United States and Argentina will meet in the first Copa America semifinal game at NRG Stadium in Houston on Tuesday.

The U.S. will try to find a way replace three key starters, as Jermaine Jones, Alejandro Bedoya and Bobby Wood are all suspended for Tuesday’s match. The U.S. defeated Ecuador 2–1 behind goals from Clint Dempsey and Gyasi Zardes to advance to the Copa America semifinals for the first time since 1995

Argentina dominated Venezuela 4–1 to advance to the semifinals for the fourth time in the last five Copa Americas. Gonzalo Higuain, Lionel Messi and Erik Lamela all scored in that game, sending the No. 1 team in the FIFA world rankings to the semifinals.

Argentina fell in the 2015 Copa America final to Chile on penalties.
