Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo angrily threw a reporter’s microphone in the lake next to his team’s hotel after the reporter approached him with a question.
Ronaldo, who missed a late penalty kick against Austria in his team’s second Euro 2016 game, was walking with his teammates when the incident occurred.
The CMTV reporter approached Ronaldo and asked him if he is ready for Portugal’s game against Hungary on Wednesday. Ronaldo reacted by yanking the microphone away from the reporter and tossing it in the lake.
The reporter is then seen being moved away from Ronaldo by a team member.
Portugal has only scored one goal in Euro 2016 and needs to win against Hungary to guarantee a spot in the knockout rounds. Portugal’s first two matches against Iceland and Austria both ended in draws.
