Poland and Portugal meet for the first match of the Euro 2016 quarterfinals on Thursday.

Poland is coming off a penalty kick victory over Switzerland to advance to the quarterfinals for the first time ever. Jakub Blaszczykowski scored in the 39th minute to give Poland the early lead, by that lead was erased when Switzerland’s Xherdan Shaqiri scored in the 82nd. Poland went a perfect five-for-five in PKs, while Granit Xhaka missed for the Swiss.

Portugal struggled throughout its match against Croatia before Ricardo Quaresma scored in the 117th minute. The win was the first for Portugal in the tournament after it drew in all three group stage matches.  

The winner of this match will face off against the winner of the Wales vs. Belgium match in the semifinals.
