Wales and Belgium meet in the second match of the Euro 2016 quarterfinals on Friday.
Wales defeated Northern Ireland 1–0 in the round of 16 to advance to the quarterfinals in its first time ever competing at Euros. The Welsh only had one shot on goal during the entire match, but an own goal from Northern Ireland’s Gareth McAuley in the 75th minute proved to be the decisive moment.
Belgium is looking to advance to the semifinals of the European Championships for the first time since 1972, when it finished in third place as the host nation. Belgium crushed Hungary in the Round of 16, winning 4–0.
The winner of this match will face Portugal after it beat Poland on penalties.
