Wales and Portugal will meet on Wednesday in the first match of the Euro 2016 semifinals.

Real Madrid teammates Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale will be pitted against each other in the matchup that will determine which team advances to the final.

Portugal won just its second match of the tournament in the quarterfinals, beating Poland on penalties after a 1–1 draw. Ronaldo did not score in regulation, but sunk his penalty kick.

Wales beat Belgium, 3–1, with a come-from-behind win in the quarterfinals, continuing the underdog narrative for the squad playing in the Euros for the first time. Wales will be without Aaron Ramsey in the semifinals after he was suspended for his two yellow cards in the team’s first five games.

The winner of the match will advance to face either Germany or France in the final on Sunday.
