Alvaro Morata could stay in Madrid: AS.com reports that Real Madrid has decided to hold onto Alvaro Morata, despite rampant transfer speculation. Several Premier League clubs, most prominently Chelsea and Arsenal, were reportedly interested in buying the striker. The Spanish international plays for Juventus on loan last season.
Samuel Umtiti off to Barcelona: The Lyon defender signed with Barcelona on Tuesday for €25 million. Umtiti is coming off an impressive Euro 2016 campaign with France.
Tottenham receives help up front: Spurs have completed the signing of Dutch striker Vincent Janssen from AZ Alkmaar on a five-year contract, the club announced. Janssen was the leading scorer in Eredivisie last year.
Ryan Bertrand signs new Southampton deal: The left back and Southampton agreed to a new five-year contract, the club announced Tuesday morning.
Willian gets new Chelsea contract: The Brazilian midfielder has signed a new four–year deal with Chelsea, keeping him at Stamford Bridge for the foreseeable future.

Pogba staying with Juve?: Paul Pogba has been linked to Manchester United and Real Madrid, and a move to Old Trafford appeared imminent. But Pogba, 23, might end up staying with Juventus after all, his agent said, according to Sky Sports.
Real Madrid out of Pogba sweepstakes: Sky Sports reported this weekend that Real Madrid is no longer a candidate to sign Pogba. The Frenchman reportedly favored Real Madrid over Manchester United, but the Spanish giant doesn’t feel it can compete with Manchester United financially.
West Ham can’t seal Carlos Bacca’s signature: The Hammers were in discussion with Colombia forward Carlos Bacca, but the club hasn’t been able to reach an agreement with Bacca’s agents, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. According to The Guardian, West Ham is looking to sign Bacca from Milan for £26 million.
Arsenal showing interest in Draxler, Lacazette: Arsenal is still in the market for another forward to complement Olivier Giroud, and Arsene Wenger may have found his man in Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette, Sky Sports reports. Arsenal is also reportedly keen on Wolfsburg midfielder Julian Draxler, even though Draxler is under contract at the club through 2020.
Newcastle puts a price on Sissoko: Moussa Sissoko was the most dangerous player going forward for France in its 1–0 defeat to Portugal in the Euro 2016 final. Naturally, interest around the midfielder is growing following his standout performance—and now Newcastle says that buyers will have to pay £35 million to sign Sissoko, according to Sky Sports.
N’Golo Kante drawing interest from Stamford Bridge: Chelsea is aiming to complete a deal for Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante, and urgency is increasing amid reported interest from Chinese club Shanghai SIPG, The Telegraph reports. Kante, however, is not interested in joining Shanghai.
