Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain is nearing a move to Juventus, Sky Sports reports.
Higuain, 28, has reportedly completed a medical with Juventus and agreed to a deal to join the team. Juventus and Napoli are reportedly still negotiating a transfer fee, with Higuain’s buyout clause in the range of $103 million.
The Argentine striker led Serie A with 36 goals last season, and has two years left on his deal after joining Napoli from Real Madrid in 2013.
Juventus has been heavily rumored in talks to sell midfielder Paul Pogba to Manchester United for a substantial fee upward of what Higuain will reportedly cost. Higuain would fill a need for Juve up front, with striker Alvaro Morata returning to Real Madrid after the club exercised its buy-back clause.
Higuain has also been linked to Arsenal and Atletico Madrid.
