Everton hosts Crystal Palace on Friday at Goodison Park in Liverpool.

Everton was unbeaten in their first five matches of the season but fell 1–0 to Bournemouth last weekend. Everton sits in fifth place in the league table, tied with Arsenal and Liverpool with 13 points but trailing due to goal differential.

Crystal Palace is on a three-game winning streak against league opponents (scoring nine goals in the process) and four-match winning streak overall. Their most recent win came with the help of a late goal by Christian Benteke against Sunderland.

Palace is currently in seventh place with 10 points.
