NEW YORK -- Brad Keselowski was involved in an accident while testing his vehicle at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Ga., on Wednesday, according to Penske Racing. He was taken to an Atlanta area hospital for further evaluation.

"Brad was able to exit the car under his own power, but as a precautionary measure was taken to the hospital," a media representative from Penske Racing said. "Penske Racing will provide further communication as details become known."

Keselowski, currently 21st in driver points, is coming off a ninth-place finish at the Brickyard 400. The 27-year-old won the Nationwide Series title last year.
