Tony Stewart will race in the Oral-B USA 500 at Atlanta this weekend, his team announced.
Stewart has not raced since he struck and killed sprint car driver Kevin Ward Jr. in a dirt track race in Canandaigua, N.Y., on Aug. 9.

Jeff Burton drove Stewart's No. 14 car in the previous two races at Michigan and Bristol.
Stewart-Haas Racing released a statement announcing Stewart's decision to drive at Atlanta:
Stewart is currently No. 26 in the Sprint Cup points standings. The top 16 drivers qualify for the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
