Kyle Busch has foot surgery, should be ready for 2015 season

NASCAR driver Kyle Busch underwent surgery to relieve inflammation in his left foot Thursday, Joe Gibbs Racing announced

The company said that the scheduled procedure was done by Dr. Robert Anderson of OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, N.C.

Busch is expected to be healed in time to start next season's first race, the Daytona 500 on Feb. 22.

Busch, 29, has completed 10 seasons in the Sprint Cup Series. During the 2014 season, hye had one win and finished 10th in the championship standings.

He won seven times on the Nationwide Series last season.
