One spectator was killed and several injured at a VLN endurance race in Germany on Saturday in an accident involving a Nissan GT-R.

One spectator was killed and several injured in a crash at a VLN endurance race in Germany on Saturday.

Reports indicate that the car, a Nissan GT-R, rose off a stretch of the track and crashed into the space where spectators were standing.

The driver of the car, Jann Mardenborough, reportedly was not seriously injured. The race was canceled and not restarted.
