WINCHESTER, Ind. (AP) Chase Briscoe gained the lead in a duel with Dalton Sargeant on a restart with 30 laps to go and won the ARCA Racing Series race on Sunday at Winchester Speedway.

It was Briscoe's first career ARCA win and came in his 12th series start.

''To finally get my first win, and especially in my home state is just incredible,'' said Briscoe, of Mitchell, Indiana.

Debris on the front stretch brought out the final caution and set up the restart coming to the 177th lap.

Briscoe, who won the pole and led the first 118 laps in his No. 77 Ford, went side-by-side with Sargeant for three laps before edging ahead and beat Sargeant's Toyota by 10 car-lengths.

Kyle Weatherman, who started at the back of the field for unapproved adjustments, finished third in a Chevrolet.
