Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Troy Polamalu was fined $10,000 for speaking on a cell phone near the bench area, according to a tweet from Jason La Canfora of NFL.com.

According to La Canfora, the possession of cell phones or any other personal electronic equipment is not allowed in the bench area within 90 minutes of the game’s kickoff. Polamalu joins fellow All-Pro defenders A.J. Hawk and Clay Matthews for being fined for a non-football related act this week. Hawk was reportedly fined $10,000 for an inappropriate gesture during last week’s game, and Matthews was fined $5,000 for wearing the wrong color shoes.
