Vikings' Robison Apologizes After Groin Kick
Minnesota Vikings defensive end Brian Robison took to Twitter to attempt to make amends with Green Bay Packers offensive lineman T.J. Lang after kicking him in the groin Sunday.
Robison said after the game that he had acted defensively because he felt that Lang had slammed him to the turf and "started coming toward me."
"It is what it is," Robison said, according to Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com. "It happened. There's nothing I can do about it. It's something that if I could go back, I wouldn't have done it. There's nothing I could do about it now. There was a penalty, and hopefully it won't happen in the future."
Lang remembers a less combative situation.
"We caught his legs and pushed him," Lang said. "He landed on his back. I didn't say anything to him. He just responded."
