Minnesota Vikings cornerback Chris Cook tweeted an apology to his coaching staff, fans, friends and family in light of his recent arrest for felony domestic assault.

http://twitter.com/#!/ChrisCook_31/status/128913236216123392 The 24-year-old allegedly tried to strangle his girlfriend Saturday, an attempt which left her with a bloody nose and several neck injuries.  The Vikings cornerback was reportedly angry that his girlfriend of several months had spoken to an ex-boyfriend. He could face up to three years in prison and up to a $5,000 fine.
