The SEC has backed the NCAA's decision to make Ole Miss forward Murphy Holloway eligible to play this season, according to a report on CBSSports.com.

Holloway played for Ole Miss for the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 seasons, but sat out last year according to NCAA rules after transferring to South Carolina for personal reasons.  When Holloway found himself able to transfer back to Ole Miss for this season, he applied for a waive to the normal year-in-residence rules.  The NCAA granted the waiver, but Holloway has been waiting for the SEC's decision. No official announcement has yet been made.
