Mexican Soccer Team Replaces Players' Names with Twitter Handles on Jerseys
The Mexican Primera Division soccer club Jaguares has replaced their players’ name on the back of their jersey with their Twitter handle, Yahoo! Sports reports. The team is also promoting their beer sponsor’s Twitter handle on the jerseys.
The team claims the move was in interest of gaining more followers for the players and sponsor on the social media site. The newly fashioned jerseys feature the unique Twitter blue and the Twitter bird logo.
