After trying out with the team Tuesday, the Oakland Raiders have announced that they have signed wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh. He last played in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens.

Houshmandzadeh will join fellow ex-Bengal Carson Palmer in Oakland. Palmer was signed earlier this season to replace injured quarterback Jason Campbell. In 10 NFL seasons, Houshmandzadeh has caught 616 passes for 7,091 yards and 43 touchdowns. His best season in 2007 with the Bengals, when he caught 112 passes for 1,143 yards and 12 touchdowns while making his only Pro Bowl.
