Rex Ryan To Play A Patriots Fan In Upcoming Adam Sandler Movie

New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan will make his acting debut this summer, however his first role may be a tougher one than anyone could have ever expected. The outspoken head coach will reportedly play a Patriots fan in an upcoming movie, according to the New York Post.

Ryan, 48, will play both a lawyer and a Patriots fan in an Adam Sandler project scheduled to be filmed in Massachusetts this summer. According to the Post, Ryan’s lines will include comments about both Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.

"He was great enough to be loose and funny about it," Sandler said on an NFL.com podcast. "... He's really cool."
