San Diego Chargers' running back Curtis Brinkley will play Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, according to the Associated Press. Brinkley returned to practice Friday after being cleared from the concussion he suffered Monday night against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brinkley passed the NFL's concussion test Thursday and will likely play Sunday, according to the AP. With Ryan Mathews listed as questionable for Sunday's game with a hamstring injury, that leaves only Mike Tolbert as a healthy back for the Chargers. Brinkley had 10 carries for 43 yards and a score Monday in the Chargers' loss to the Chiefs.
