Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones Doesn't Want WR Dez Bryant Punt Returning

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones questioned the coaching decision to have recently injured wide receiver Dez Bryant return punts, NBC Sports reports.

The outspoken owner told FOX Sports Southwest, “I’m still concerned when we had him back there about his injury, especially now that Miles [Austin] may be, or may not be, out a couple of games.”

In the Cowboys’ Week 1 loss against the New York Jets, Bryant was injured on a punt return, which led to Jones’ concern of Bryant fielding punts against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Bryant returned two punts in the game, one for a 12-yard gain, the other for a four-yard loss.
