Gerald McCoy Will Miss Remainder Of Season

Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy will be forced to sit out the remainder of the season with a torn biceps, according to ESPN.com.

McCoy injured his right arm during this weekend’s 16-27 loss to the New Orleans Saints. The 23-year-old also ended his 2010 season early due to a biceps injury in the opposite arm.

Through six games this season, McCoy had registered one sack and 11 tackles overall. The former Oklahoma University standout tallied three sacks and 28 tackles in 13 games last season.

McCoy was drafted third overall by the Buccaneers in the 2010 NFL draft.
