Detroit Lions running back Jahvid Best is likely out for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears, according to ESPN.com. Best is recovering from a concussion sustained in the Lions’ Week 6 loss to San Francisco.
Best is scheduled to meet with doctors this week and will undergo further testing, according to ESPN.
In Best’s absence, the Lions have used Maurice Morris and Keiland Williams, who have rushed for a combined 177 yards and one touchdown. Before his concussion, Best had rushed 84 times for 390 yards and two touchdowns this season and had caught 27 passes for 287 yards and one touchdown.
