As the NBA labor negotiations drag on into the month of November, players continue to hold exhibition games to give the fans a taste of basketball. Last night, Memphis Grizzlies star Rudy Gay hosted such an event at the DeSota Civic Center in front of 6,000 fans.

The Blue Team, led by Miami Heat star LeBron James, defeated Rudy Gay’s White team 158-151 in a highlight filled game that featured very little defense. Gay scored 45 points in front of the home town crowd. Former NBA star Penny Hardaway also reportedly took part in the game.
