Miami Marlins Officially Unveil New Uniforms, Logo

The Miami Marlins kicked off what's expected to be an active offseason for the newly-rechristened franchise by officially debuting their new logo, name, and uniforms in a live unveiling on the team's website.

Marlins OF/1B Logan Morrison tweeted a picture of the various iterations of the new uniforms:

Owner Jeffrey Loria proudly presided over the ceremony, paying homage to the city of Miami and its blend of cultures. The new ballpark, Loria said, "will reflect our lifestyle.  If this ballpark could speak, its first words would be Hola, Miami!"

The team's colors, according to Loria, are red-orange, blue, and yellow.  The new uniforms and colors, the owner said, "properly expresses our essence and the essence of our fans, which can be summed up in three words: cool, Miami, and international."
