Former NBA role player Bobby Jackson will join the Sacramento Kings coaching staff as an assistant, the former point guard said today via Twitter.
“What up tworld I have decided to join the Kings coaching staff as Assistant Coach once the Lockout ends,” Jackson tweeted.
Jackson, 38, played six of his 12 professional seasons for the Kings. He was well known as one of the best bench players in the game during his career, and was named the 2002-03 Sixth Man of the Year. Jackson will join head coach Paul Westphal’s staff after previously serving as a scout for the organization.
