NBA commissioner David Stern and deputy commissioner Adam Silver held a Q&A session on Twitter Sunday, giving the fans a chance to ask questions about the 136-day-old NBA lockout of the highest ranking officials on the owners' side of the table.  Many of the questions have been about the specifics of the deal, which the NBA had tweeted on Friday, but there have also been some more speculative inquiries.

Asked by NBA fan Matt Carbonaro, "Will you guys consider replacement players?" the league officials declined to rule out the possibility:

.@MattCarbonaro Our goal is a season with our current players
If the players elect not to accept the owners' latest proposal early next week, the owners have promised to return with a drastically less favorable offer.
