New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz and other Giants teammates are uninjured after a Manhattan nightclub shooting early Tuesday morning which killed one man and injured two others, ESPN reports.

Cruz was celebrating his birthday with his teammates at the Juliet Supper Club when the gunshots were fired. The Giants players were not involved in the shooting.

"I don't remember how many [gunshots I heard], to be honest with you," Cruz said, according to The Record. "There were enough." Other professional athletes, including NBA players such as John Wall, Carlos Boozer and Russell Westbrook were present at the nightclub during the shooting, all of whom were unharmed.
