Adam Burish is expected to miss four-to-six weeks for the Dallas Stars with a broken hand, according to ESPN Dallas/Fort Worth.

Burish, a six-year-veteran, was injured Tuesday night in a 6-0 loss to the Florida Panthers.

"He got hit with a puck," Stars head coach Glen Gulutzan said, according to ESPN. "Brenden (Morrow) shot the puck and it hit him in the hand." Through 15 games this season Burish has three goals and five assists for eight points. Last year in 63 games he scored eight goals and tallied six assists for 14 points. The 28-year-old was originally drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2002.
