Bears’ Earl Bennett Fined $10K For Wearing Orange Shoes Again

Chicago Bears wide receiver Earl Bennett was fined $10,000 by the NFL for wearing orange shoes on two consecutive weeks, according to a tweet from Adam Schefter. The shoes in question were bright orange and were not approved by the NFL.

Bennett had worn the orange shoes in Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles and was fined $5,000. This second offense cost Bennett $10,000.

It’s unknown whether Bennett will continue to wear the orange shoes, but told ESPN 1000 that the fines will continue to increase $5,000 for continuous infractions.
