New Major League Baseball Collective Bargaining Agreement Reached

MLB owners and players have agreed on a new collective bargaining agreement good for five years, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com. The deal will be announced Monday, Rosenthal announced.

Among the expected changes will be The Houston Astros joining the American League, as well as adding an extra playoff team from each league. That change could go into effect as soon as 2012.
