Ty Wigginton Acquired By Philadelphia Phillies

The Philadelphia Phillies have acquired former Colorado Rockies utility infielder Ty Wigginton, according to the Rockies' official Twitter-feed. Colorado will receive either a player to be named later or cash.

The Rockies and Phillies will split Wigginton's $4 million dollar salary, and the player to be named can be exhanged within six months.
