49ers’ Dashon Goldson Won’t Be Suspended For Fight With Doucet

San Francisco 49ers safety Dashon Goldson won’t be suspended for his fight with Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Early Doucet during Sunday’s game, according to ESPN. Goldson called the fight a “one-time transgression” and told ESPN that he addressed his teammates and coaches after the game.

In the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game, Goldson got blindsided and slapped on the back by Doucet, according to ESPN. Goldson got up and confronted Doucet; both began swinging their arms at each other before Goldson threw a series of punches to Doucet’s facemask. Goldson was given a 15-yard personal foul penalty and ejected from the league. The 49ers won the game, 23-7.
