Arizona Cardinals starting nose tackle Dan Williams is out for the remainder of the season with a broken left arm, ESPN reports.

Williams was injured in the Cardinals 23-7 loss at San Francisco this past Sunday. The second-year pro was the Cardinals first round draft pick in 2010.

According to Arizona head coach Ken Whisenhunt rookie David Carter and veteran Nick Eason will split snaps to replace Williams for the remainder of the season. The Cardinals are 3-7 and currently rank third in the NFC West. Arizona takes on the 2-8 St. Louis Rams on Sunday.
