The Texas Rangers are looking to add Oakland Athletics closer Andrew Bailey, according to Ken Rosenthal of FoxSports.com. The team signed former Minnesota Twins closer Joe Nathan last week.

Texas is trying to shore up their struggling bullpen, which failed them in their seven-game World Series loss to the St. Louis Cardinals. They also pursued Jonathan Broxton, but the former Los Angeles Dodger signed a one-year deal with the Kansas City Royals. The Rangers were interested in Bailey last season, but they were unable to land him prior to the trade deadline.
