Hugh Freeze To Become Next Ole Miss Head Coach

Ole Miss legend Archie Manning announced Hugh Freeze as the school’s new head football coach today in a video message on the school’s website:

Freeze served as the Arkansas State head coach this season, posting a 10-2 record, helping the Red Wolves earn a bid to the GoDaddy.com Bowl. In 2010 Freeze served as the team’s offensive coordinator, prior to that he spent two years as the head coach of Lambuth, leading the squad to a combined 20-5 record.

Freeze is best known by some for his depiction in the major motion picture, “The Blind Side.”
