MRI Confirms Bears RB Matt Forte Has MCL Sprain

An MRI on Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte confirms he sustained a grade two MCL sprain with no damage to the ACL, ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted.

Forte suffered the injury after a low hit by Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Derrick Johnson in Sunday’s Bears loss. Forte is expected to miss between two and six weeks.

The Bears are already without starting quarterback Jay Cutler and have posted two consecutive losses as four games remain on the schedule.
