The Chicago Bulls are a “sleeper” team to acquire Orlando Magic forward Dwight Howard, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

“Chicago may tell Orlando to take any two players – or three – besides [Derrick] Rose,” one GM told Wojnarowski about a possible Orlando-Chicago trade.

Wojnarowski writes that the Los Angeles Lakers are likely the front-runners for Howard (and New Orleans Hornets guard Chris Paul), but suggests that a package of Joakim Noah and Carlos Boozer or Luol Deng could bring in Howard if the Bulls are willing to accept “one of those bad Orlando contracts” as well. Last season, Howard averaged 22.9 points, 14.1 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game. He could become a free agent next offseason through an opt-out clause in his contract.
