Stanford University quarterback Andrew Luck has won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, ESPN.com reports.
The Johnny Unitas Award recognizes the nation’s top quarterback who best exemplifies character as well as scholastic and athletic achievement.
This season, Luck has thrown for 3,170 yards and 35 touchdowns for his fourth-ranked Stanford squad that boasts an 11-1 record. Luck will lead his team in the Fiesta Bowl against No. 3 Oklahoma State on Jan. 2.
Luck, who possesses a 3.48 cumulative GPA also earned the league’s offensive player of the year award.
