Green Bay Packers fourth year linebacker Erik Walden has been charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct-domestic abuse, according to the Associated Press. Walden’s attorney, Steve Richards, has pleaded not guilty on his behalf.

Walden was arrested by Brown County police over Thanksgiving weekend after his girlfriend told officers that he “pushed her” during an argument. She later changed her story to say that she had struck Walden first in the argument. Walden was released on $1,000 bond on Monday Nov. 28, according to the Associated Press. The 26-year-old linebacker has recorded 45 tackles and three sacks this season. Last year he tallied 25 tackles and three sacks in nine games for Green Bay.
