The Boston Celtics seem determined to trade for New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul.  An earlier report had them offering a package of players and draft picks; now, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, Boston is also presenting the Hornets with "multiple 3-team trade scenarios" in an attempt to find something that will work.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers are also attempting to put together a package to acquire Paul, but one player that won't be included is guard Eric Gordon.  According to Wojnarowski, the Clippers have told Gordon that he will not be included as part of any deal for Paul. The Hornets are looking to trade Paul, a top point guard, because the two sides were unable to agree on a contract extension. Paul can become a free agent after this season.
