Washington Redskins Criticize Field Conditions At Their Home Stadium, FedEx Field

FedEx Field, the home stadium of the Washington Redskins, hosted football games on two consecutive days: the annual Army/Navy Game on Saturday, and the Redskins' tilt with the New England Patriots on Sunday.  There was some question as to how the natural grass at the stadium would hold up to that much use, and the reports emerging from the postgame locker room indicate that Redskins players were not pleased with the results.

Linebacker Brian Orakpo, for example, speaking to Nathan Fenno of the Washington Times:

Right tackle Jammal Brown suffered a groin injury during pregame warmups that kept him out of the game entirely.  According to Rick Maese of the Washington Post, the quality of the field was part of  Brown's problem.
