The Minnesota Twins have agreed to multi-year contract with outfielder Josh Willingham, according to ESPN.com's Jerry Crasnick.

Willingham spent last season with the Oakland Athletics, hitting .262/.371/.475 with 29 home runs and 98 RBI. Under the new collective bargaining agreement, Willingham is a Type-A free agent, which means the Twins will not have to surrender any draft picks, though the A's will still receive two picks to compensate for the loss.
